Paul wrote to Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12 - "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young..." At Northside, we believe young people are an important part of the church. The youth ministry consists of tweens and teens, along with many parents, grandparents and interested adults.
The tweens are an exciting and enthusiastic group. They are made up of students in the 3rd through 5th grades. Each month, there is a devotional in someone's home along with an activity planned specifically for them. These 'pre-teens' are always happy about being together.
The teens include all students in grades 6 through 12. Teenagers are given a chance to participate in a number of activities during the year. There are monthly devotionals and outings, retreats, youth rallies and many service opportunities. All of these are designed to be fun, while also striving for spirtual growth among the members of the group.
