"To Glorify God" is the mission of both the Northside congregation and the individual members. That mission drives the Bible class program as well.

Sunday morning and Wednesday evening classes are provided for all ages from cradle roll through adults. For the younger students, the emphasis is on Bible study and the older classes cover both Biblical studies and topical studies on building faith and examination of doctrine.

The youth program for tweens and teens is under the leadership of the youth minister and involves mission trips, youth rallies, service projects, camp and local gatherings as well as Bible study.

Many of the students participate in the nationally known Lads to Leaders program. Participants in this program develop leadership in many areas of Christian service such as: song leading; puppet ministry; Bible bowl contest; scrap booking and memorization of Scriptures.  Each year, during Easter weekend, they participate in the annual Lads to Leaders Convention where they showcase their talents.

The adult classes emphasize Biblical and topical studies as well as participate in service and mission projects on Sunday morning and Wednesday night.

In addition, there are special classes during the school year. Each Tuesday morning Bible study and fellowship is offered at the Primetimers class. A special class for ladies is held on Wednesday night.

The congregation frequently has a special series during the summer months.   Also, a Vacation Bible School is held just prior to the beginning of the school year.

One of our members, Dorrel Harrison, wrote a recent article entitled "Effective Adult Bible Teaching", which was published in the May 2008 Gospel Advocate magazine.   You can download a copy of the article at the bottom of this page.
