Scott grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He was baptized into Christ in 1980 and considers Okolona Church of Christ his original home congregation.
Scott has been a deacon at Northside since 2002. Before serving as a deacon of Evangelism and Missions, he served as a deacon of Christian Neighbor for two years.
Scott and his wife, Glenda, have three children, Neil, Austin, and Nolan. Scott's mom is a member at Okolona Church of Christ and his brother lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Scott enjoys working with The Network, coaching youth sports, and playing basketball and softball.
