John grew up in Madison, Indiana. He considers Northside Church of Christ his original home congregation.
John has been a deacon of marketing at Northside for two years. He has also served as a deacon of education for one year at Northside and two years at Meigs Avenue Church of Christ, as an elder for four years and as a preacher for twenty-one years.
John and his wife, Debbie, have two children, Joey and Shane. They are both married and live out of town. John enjoys using his ham radio and writing.
